ToC layer list item classification different from mapserver

Hi all,

 

I have a feature service that has (among others) attributes like  CLASS_ID and CLASS_NAME.

 

It's classified and labeled on CLASS_ID, which is some (to end users) meaningless number. 

 

So I'd like to, in the geocortex layer list, display the CLASS_NAME attribute instead of using the attribute that is standard for the service. (I know you can use a different label for labels on the map, but I want it different in the layer list.)

 

Is this possible, or would I need to alter the service? (This is probably not possible for me.)

  Hi Rik,

   

  Unfortunately, there is no way to customize the legend appearance with an expression (or even a static string).

   

  Please post to the Ideas section so that we could consider it for a future release!

   

  Screenshots or mockups might also help explain what you're looking to do here.
