ArcGIS Online Premium Subscriber Content
How do I add ArcGIS Online subscriber content to a Geocortex site? Our sites are secured using Windows Authentication. I need to add a layer from the Living Atlas that is premium content and consumes credits. I have tried several approaches - adding the layer to an existing site, creating a new site referencing Esri's web map, etc., but I can't successfully access it. Is this even possible without registering with ArcGIS in the post installation? Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Stephanie,
As you suspect, you need to use AGOL Sign-in - https://docs.geocortex.com/essentials/latest/install-help/Default.htm#ge/install/sign-in-method.htm
If the AGOL services were totally public, it wouldn't be an issue, you could use a Windows login and still consume them.

Thank you for such a quick response, Wayne! I was afraid of that, but was hoping I missed something somewhere.
If we switch over to using AGOL Sign-in, does that mean that only users with an ArcGIS Online account could access the secured sites?
Thanks again!

You're welcome.
Unfortunately yes, they would need to login to see the secured sites.
Feel free to "up-vote" this idea to change the behaviour - https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCIdeasDetail?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&id=08760000000bp1AAAQ&categ=&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials
I'm not sure how feasible it is but it's good to know how many users are interested in this type of thing.

Thanks again, Wayne! I up-voted just now. I was really hoping I could just somehow add the layer using (and storing) my credentials or something. Thanks again for the clarification. 0
