Toggle between Report/Sub Report.

I can't seem to see the master report, when I create a sub-report and access the report explorer. The report explorer only shows the components of the sub-report. It would be nice if it showed the master report in a tree/hierarchy so that I could go back to the master report after I'm done configuring the sub-report. The documentation states to press CTRL+ALT+HOME, but this doesn't seem to be working. I ended up losing my sub-report because I couldn't figure out how to get back to my master report.

 

What am I doing wrong?

  Hi Erik, I haven't used the report explorer much, but to toggle between a sub report and master report, I double click on the sub report control to get into the sub report from the master and then to get back to the master report I use the back arrow.

  Hi Inga!

  Thanks for your message. I was able to use the back arrow, but only when the sub report was within the main detail band. I had added an additional detail band to my master report and had placed my sub-report into it. When it was placed there, I was unable to toggle back to the master report. Adding the sub-report to the default detail band, it would work as expected. I believe that support will be filing a bug report for this issue.
