Run Python Activity

Hi everyone, could you, please, help me with this activity? What should a path for a python script look like? I tried to put a link to a script, or use a local path on the server - it does not seem to work. If you do not mind, please, an a sample workflow showing how to run this activity. Thanks

  Hi Ehab,

   

  We have also noticed this issue and have created a fix for the next maintenance release, which doesn't currently have a planned release date yet.

   

  As a temporary workaround, you can change the application pool identity for the GeocortexWorkflow app pool to your user account or a local administrator, which will allow you to run the Run Python activity.

  Hi Stefan,

   

  was the 'fix' for this meant to be in the 5.9 release (issue 26675)?

  I still had to follow the steps above and run the app pool under a different account to get this to work.

  p.s. A sample would have been very useful as it took a lot of trial and error to figure out what works on the Python side to get the arguments sent from the workflow.

  There is currently no timeline set for a fix of 26675. I've added your name to the list of stakeholders.

   

  Since Run Python is a server-side activity, providing a meaningful public sample workflow is more difficult, but we are considering this.
