Re-Publishing breaks existing Long Description Coding

From what I understand, when I Re-Publish my mxd, over-write the existing, (say I have new Feature Classes in addition to the old ones), it deletes the existing Long Description Code from the previously existing FC. What am I doing wrong, this shouldn't happen.

  Hi Jeffrey,

  Specifically, refreshing the site's cache would be the first thing I'd recommend trying.  If none of that helps, I would suggest submitting a support case so that we can take a closer look.
