Reading layer properties after loading from a layer catalogue

Hi all,

 

I’m getting an error (below) reading an attribute from a layer which doesn’t always load before the “Get Layer Property” activity is called.

 

Is there a way in Geocortex workflow 4 to listen for a layer loaded event before trying to read it?

 

Also, is there an exception I can catch to prevent the error alert exiting the workflow?

  In addition to above, the layer is being loaded from a layer catalogue via external command "AppendCatalogLayers".
