Best practices for migrating Essentials to a new server?

We are about to migrate Esri/Geocortex to a new server.  I asked Latitudes tech support for documentation on migration, but there is apparently no documentation on this.  Can anyone out there provide some steps or best practices for migrating Essentials to a new server?

  As we discussed in our case, we do not provide direct recommendations because customer environments are often customized so blanket instructions are often not accurate.  

   

  We noted a few KBAs that may be a good overall guide:
