Waiting for feature set datalinks to resolve before processing export command

Export to csv or xls is failing on a layer with several relationships and a couple of data links. No error is thrown, just the info message: "Waiting for feature set (Parcels) datalinks to resolve before processing export command". To the user it appears the file is being processed, but no download ever occurs. The below dialog eventually just disappears.

 

  

 

The data links are set to not visible, they only exist to support subreports. Based on past posts it appears export should be supported on a layer with data links - we are on 4.10.3.23 and HTML5 Viewer 2.11.2. Any insights?

  Hi Piper,

   

  You are correct, export should be supported on a layer with data links - this sounds like "Bug 17719 - Non-visible data links break Export to csv/xlsx tool". When the checkbox for a data link's visible property is unchecked, exporting features from that layer *should* download the requested file type, but the behaviour you're seeing (no error message, silent failure), indicates a bug.

  Thanks Stephanie for the response. I've since written a workflow to work around this issue. Can you tell me where I can find more information about bugs in general? Any word on if this will be resolved in 5?
