Change Alert activity title?
In WF4 we are able to change the pop up Alert's title, but in WF5 there's no option to change it. So every pop up window has a bold Alert title that makes a little bit nervous, even it was a good message like process completed. Don't want to use form to replace it as feels it is a bit overkill. So is it possible at all to change Alert title and maybe also take markdowns? Or this could be my first custom activity : ) 🌟

Hi Jack,
Â
The Alert activity users the browser's window.alert function by default, which accepts only a message as a parameter. I say "by default" because some of our viewers override this with their own behaviour, to look more consistent.
Â
Which viewer were you using when you saw the "Alert" title?

Hi Ken, I'm referring to the Alert activity in Workflow 4 and HTML5 viewer, and I'm using Chrome and Firefox. please see my attached screenshot.

Hi Jack,
Â
I was asking about the viewer you are using when you run the Workflow 5 "Alert" activity. Is that also in the HTML5 viewer? I checked with the team and I think that viewer shows the alert dialog without a title.

Hi Ken, yes Workflow 5 in HTML5. What I was after is having the Alert activity in WF5 behaves same as WF4 in HTML5. (be able to modify the Alert title)

Hi Jack,
Â
I'm happy to report that we are going to add the "title" input to the Alert activity. It will be included in v5.11 of the Geocortex Viewer for HTML 5. Unfortunately, it's too late to include it in v5.10.

Thanks Ken. Good to know that.
