Map Tips Generalized Geometry Adjustment
When using the map tips it will highlight the associated features geometry on the map. The highlight is a generalization of the geometry and at some scales it can look off. Is there a way to either turn it off or change the tolerance?

Hi Chris,
Sounds like you've probably run into the geometry generalization feature from the highlight module. This is used to simplify geometry for highlights when features have a high number of vertices, in order to improve browser performance.
Try the following:
1. Navigate to the viewer's desktop config file. The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sites\SITENAME\Viewers\VIEWERNAME\VirtualDirectory\Resources\Config\Default\Desktop.json.js
2. Backup the file and edit the original in a text editor like Notepad. Keep Essentials Manager closed whenever you edit config files so that you don't accidentally overwrite your changes.
3. Use CTRL + F to search for "thresholdVertices". Change its value from 5000 to a higher number (whatever works best for you)
4. Save the file and test the viewer
5. Repeat for Tablet.json.js and Handheld.json.js if necessary
The setting is documented here: https://docs.geocortex.com/essentials/gvh/latest/admin-help/Default.htm#gvh/admin/modules/highlight-module.htm
All the best,
