Report SQL Parameter

We are experimenting with the Reporting in GeoCortex Essentials (v4.11) and need to create a report containing the results of several SQL queries that use the ID of the feature selected on the map.

 

I have created a report with a SQL query and created a parameter, but cannot work out how to use that parameter in the SQ statement. The SQL is similar to the below:

 

select * from mytable where myid = @myparameter

 

Does anyone have an example of how to use parameters in reports, specifically with SQL queries?
