Highlight features

Hi all,

 

I want to show all the features inside my featureset to be highlighted on map with a specific colour.

 

I can do the highlighting part by adding the featureset to starred selection manually in the viewer.

 

How to do the same automatically with the help of featureset ?

  Sounds like you want the Select Features (https://docs.geocortex.com/essentials/workflow/latest/help/Default.htm#wf/help/wf_A_SelectFeatures.htm) activity.

  Thanks Zack for your response. I have tried Select Features activity and here are my findings to it.

   

  I got 130 features in my featureset and when i tried using Select Features activity, my results are split into 3 pages with 50 features highlighted (not selected) in each page in result window.

   

  I want all 130 features to be selected like Starred Selection activity.

  Hi Srini,

   

  That's something that you can set in Essentials Manager:

   

  Edit your Viewer, go to Look and Feel >(scroll down to) Highlights Mode > Mode.

   

  This setting allows you to select among the following three options:

  • "Highlight Features On Page"
  • "Highlight All Features"
  • "Do Not Highlight Any Features"

  If the first option is selected, the only features that are highlighted are those that appear on the current page of the results list (in your example, 50 elements).  The other two options speak for themselves.

   

  I took those instructions directly from the Support Center: https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCForum?sub-nav=forum&id=90660000000GtzJAAS, which also has instructions to update the configuration files to allow more than 50 results per page, if you scroll down. Sounds like that is what you might be looking for - to show all 130 features of your featureset in the results list?

  I am able to get all the features highlighted now using changing the setting in viewer.
