support for vector tile layers

Can anyone (support?) comment on Geocortex's current level of support for Esri vector tile layers?

 

According to the online documentation (which does not seem to identify which version it applies to) they are supported “for experimental purposes in development systems”.

 

Does this mean that Latitude will not support their use if questions arise?  Is Latitude continuing to invest development resources so that vector tiles will be fully supported in the future?  What's the timeline?

  Hi Peter,

  We fully support Vector Tile layers in the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5; this documentation section will be updated in the next release. Thank you for making us aware of this. Note the Version dropdown selector at the top of the section's content.

  We also support them in Geocortex Web and Geocortex Mobile.

  Thanks, Stefan.  This is good news.

  FYI, the version dropdown appears to get stuffed behind the contentBodyInner DIV tag when viewed in IE11, which is why I couldn't find it.  It displays properly in Chrome.
