Create New Feature - No templates available
Hi there,
I'm using Geocortex 4.10 with HTML5 viewer 2.9.2.
I have a couple of feature services and editing is enabled for all of them and I've added: "Create New Feature" (out of the box tool) to the viewer. But when I'm clicking on it, in running mode, says "No templates available.", doesn't show me layers to edit on the map, Just wondering what am I missed to make edit available on the website?
Thanks for any help.

I am not sure of the background of your feature service but sometimes when you publish a service for a new feature class that has not yet been a part of an edit session in ArcMap it will publish without a feature template. This will show in the warnings during publishing but the service will still publish. If this were the case simply go back to your map document and start and stop an edit session then republish your service. 0 -
Thanks Josh.
I'm able to do editing in ArcGIS Desktop without any issue, it is showing me all templated for all features I'm editing. Data is sitting in Oracle Spatial.
But in Geocortex HTML5 Viewer, it is only saying there is no template!
Thanks fo any idea.

Are you sure you are using the feature service url and not the map service url in the Geocortex Site? ie. ../FeatureServer/0 vs ../MapServer/0 0 -
Found the issue, users don't have access to feature services, even though it is in map because of access issue they cannot edit it.
Thanks for all helps.0 -
Thanks Josh, your advice on starting and stopping an edit session in the document and republishing the service did the trick for me. 0 -
Ahad, Can you elaborate on your solution. I am getting this issue but I can edit existing features in my Viewer but cannot create new ones. 0 -
Hi Michael, sorry I miss your message. Bobby, the problem for me was the configuration in permission, it was denied. I've changed the permission and gave access to users and the problem has been resolved. 0
