Close Viewer or redirect
Is there an external command to either close the viewer or redirect to another webpage. I have a Display form on opening of the viewer and if the User either doesn't accept the Ts&Cs or clicks Cancel I would like the viewer to either Close or redirect to said webpage.
I tried OpenWebPage but that just opens the page in another tab and leaves the viewer open

I also tried NavigateToURI … but that didn't do anything at all 0 -
Hi Chris, sounds like you want to sign out the user and land them to a different page. Maybe try the command SignOut, but also make sure you set up the landing page in the Geocrotex to where you want to redirect the users to. 0 -
Hi Zack
This is an anonymous public website, so the user doesn't sign in.
I did try as you suggested and set the Command Name to "SignOut" and ensured that I enabled Sign-Out and set the landing page in the Permissions Setting for the Viewer....but when I hit Cancel on the dialog box, it just closes the dialog and the site remains open.0 -
I am re-asking this question.
I need to close the viewer from a workflow (old school workflow at this time). Is this possible?
I have a similar situation as above, I want to use the GCE/HTML5 viewer and a workflow to determine if the user's incident of concern was in the City Limit before letting them complete a Survey to report a complaint against a police officer. If the location is within the City, they are sent to Survey123 to describe the situation (with parameters passed to survey123). If the location is not in the city, I present a DisplayForm informing the user that they will need to contact another police agency. Once they click "OK" on the form, I want the viewer to close totally. Ideally, I would like to push them back to the web page that started the whole complaint process AND close the viewer. But at this point, I would be happy with closing the viewer.
Thanks,
Carmen
