    Hi Srinivas,

The load time of the viewer is largely dependent on the amount of data that is loaded; what is the size of your data set in terms of number of layers and fields within those layers.

Also. what version of GE/GVH are you currently using? We've recently made improvements in load times since GVH 2.11 onward.

    Thanks, Stefan

Hi Stefan, We have just added only one mapservice that contains only 2 layers and it consists of around 20 to 30 features. Even though it is taking 10-15 seconds time. Currently we are using GVH 2.11 version only. Is there any way to reduce the load time.

Morning, I have seen this behaviour when SSL is employed in a harden IT env. Meaning that the Geocortex server and ArcGIS Server DO NOT have internet access and you are running https. If this is true then you need to look a certificate revocation times on the server its self.

With the first https call the certs need to be validated (but cant be do to no internet access) and that time is 20-30 seconds before it times out then things start to work.

Another symptom of this is. You are on the server and try and start Geocortex Essentials or ArcGIS manager and it takes 30 seocnds using LOCALHOST.

    Hi Srinivas,

In general, a viewer with a couple of map services will take around 9 seconds to load. The only suggestions that I can provide are to load the viewer in Chrome or Firefox and ensure that the server hosting both Geocortex software and ArcGIS Server meet the recommended requirements.

    Thanks, Stefan
