Show the scale bar in a report
I have created a report that contains a map. I would like to display the map scale bar in the report. I know it's possible to display a scale bar in a print template, but how do I display it in a report?

Hi Mark,
This is not supported in Reporting yet. It's something we might consider enabling in the future.
Thanks,

you could pass over the map scale as text and display it in the report.

I'm also interested in ability to include a scale bar (or ratio) with the map.
When the 'Expand' is configured to show surrounding area of the feature, and depends on the size of each feature, each map will have a different scale. So it would be very useful to display scale information in this case.
If the 'Scale' setting is configure, and feature is a point (or somewhat uniform size), then static scale value can be added as a text. But it won't work when 'Expand' configuration is used.
@Congrong Li? - any updates on implementing this?
Thanks,
Nataliya

If you are licensed for Geocortex Reporting and Geocortex Printing you can have access to a variety of print related controls in your report. One of these is the scale bar control (https://docs.geocortex.com/reporting/latest/help/Default.htm#shr/help/scale-bar-control.htm%3FTocPath%3DConfigure%2520Controls%7CControl%2520Reference%7C_____20)

Hi @Tegan Herchenrader? , thank you for the information.
We are licensed for both Reporting and Printing. But I don't see the scale control in my Reporting? Is that supported at a specific version?

@Nataliya Lys? , this feature came out as of version 5.8. Do you have an on-prem installation that is older that this perhaps?

Thanks @Tegan Herchenrader? . Yes, we are at version 5.7. I will see if we can update soon. Would like to try some the new features.
