Preventing multiple login in geocortex manager using the same user .

Hello All,

 

 

I wonder if there is a way to prevent Geocortex manager from allowing multiple logins using the same user which cause conflicts?

  Hi Arwa and Jamal,

  Essentials Manager is designed to allow multiple admins in different accounts to work on multiple sites. Once one of the admins has started editing a site, it is locked from others accessing the same site by design. 

  It is currently not possible to prevent multiple logins using the same account into Manager. Having multiple people share an admin account is not advised for management of any software.

  Hi Jamal,

  Multiple admins can access Manager simultaneously, but not multiple users signed in using the same account. Editing the same site with multiple admins would lead to overlapping of saves and reverting of changes the other user has made.
