Timeslider Toolbar Button Disabled

I have time enabled ,map services and Timesliders configured in my site, but the Timeslider button on my toolbar is disabled. The button was working, but now it's not available.

 

 

What happened?  Where do I go to fix it?

  Hi Sean,

  Unfortunately, a regression was introduced in the 4.12 release that caused this issue. It has been fixed for 4.13, which we are aiming to release in Q1 of this year.

  Hi Stefan.

  We were planning an upgrade to GE 4.12 but we too use the TimeSlider functionality. Considering this bug do you recommend we do not upgrade to 4.12? Are there workarounds to allow TimeSlider to be functional at 4.12?

  Hi Douglas,

  Unfortunately, no workaround are possible. I would suggest waiting to upgrade to 4.13, once available, to avoid this issue.
