Download report data into an excel file

Our user wants to be able to download the reports into an excel spreadsheet.

Is there a way to get an excel file instead of getting the pdf file for the report?

  This would be a great option to have, especially for non-technical end users.

  Also, would like an option to save a report as a Word doc.
