Workflow for adding record to related table errors out at AddFeatures
I have a workflow that attempts to add a record to a related table (defined in a relationship class) feature service using the AddFeatures activity.
It errors out near the end where it reads:
"There was a workflow error running activity: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. Workflow 'Log a Cleaning Visit' failed Unhandled exception: 'Unable to complete operation.' in activity '1.69: AddFeatures'. Unable to complete operation."
I've double-checked the feature service and it seems to be pointing to the right feature. I can also edit existing features using the Geocortex Identify/Editing tool. At the point in the workflow AddFeatures activity I am specifying the Table URL, the FeatureSet and the Results, but still no joy.
ArcGIS Server logs only give a nondescript error reading: "Error: Unsupported request name."
The GCE log reads "<Message> Error performing the query: [Exceeded Transfer Limit].</Message>
Any ideas on where else to look? It is a table with 10 attributes.
Thanks.

I figured out that for some reason the Feature Service published using ArcGIS Pro was giving the workflow fits. I republished it with ArcMap and it worked. Probably a "feature template" setting on ArcGIS Pro, but I went with what works, in this case ArcMap. Problem solved. 0 -
Hi James,
I have the same problem, except the error shows when adding a new related feature through Geocortex. I'm not working with workflows. The feature service is publishes in Arcmap however...Did you apply feature templates in ArcMap?0
