Measure tool intermittently not showing measurement values in different browsers

Has anyone had issues with the measure tool showing the measurement values intermittently in different browsers? It was observed yesterday from a user that the values seemed to appear in Chrome, while not displaying in either Internet Explorer or Edge. All other features within the application seemed to work without issue. The problem also seemed to correct itself over time. Any idea on a fix should this happen again? Thank you!

  Interesting ...a city staff memeber indicated this same problem...

   

   

  I wasn't able to duplicate it so I didn't think much of it.

  We get reports of this from time to time.  As you have discovered its seems to generally be related to Explorer or Edge.  As a rule we recommend that users use Chrome as the preferred Browser and that they regularly clear out the browser cache

  One of users had the same issue. Clearing browsers caches/ history seemed to fix it...

  Hi Nathan and others,

   

  This has been noted and filed as a bug (BUG 38237). In the meantime, to workaround this issue, you can explicitly specify the tool text colour in Essentials. Edit the viewer and in the "Measurement" section, you can specify the "Text Color". By default it is blank. If you put #000000 in there for black, this should ensure that the labels will always draw black
