Cannot add a public AGOL feature layer
Hi
I'm trying to add a publicly shared AGOL feature layer to GE 4.11 using the 'Add Map Service' functionality but it's not registering anything. I've also tried adding the feature layer through the 'Add Layers' tool in the HTML 2.11 viewer but again - no results. I've tested using http and still no success.

However, I found this feature layer url below from a previous post which works. Is there some type of configuration that needs to occur on the AGOL side of things?

Hi Orlo,
I was able to add that first url alright on my site. I notice that your first url is https and your second one is http, so it's likely that you're running into this issue: https://support.geocortex.com/optimizerGSCkbaDetail?sub-nav=kba&main-nav=optimizer&id=kA6f200000091IvCAI
See if applying the two registry keys from that article fixes the problem. As of last year, https urls from ArcGIS Online don't work in Essentials without those keys set up.0 -
Thanks Amanda. Applying the registry keys did the trick. Much appreciated. 0
