disable/bypass switch for log and alert activities
Not planned
add the ability to enable/disable log and alert activities in workflows via a variable. Logging in particular is very useful for development and debugging, but may not be appropriate (for security reasons etc.) in a PROD environment.
If these types of activities had a switch that allows each instance to be turned on/off using a variable, this would reduce the amount of change required to take a workflow from DEV to PROD (and back!)
providing the option to set this property from a variable would allow things like controlling logging & alerts via a URL parameter at runtime, e.g. ...?debug=true

i have lots of Alerts throughout my workflows to debug things. It would be nice if I could just toggle them on/off so I don't have to keep hooking them up and unhooking them when I demo it to the customer and then go back to working on it
