Identify Operation on Raster layer

Hi All

 

 

I have allow identify on a raster layer from an image service .. which is working, but I'd like to configure it to be a bit more readable.  According to the documentation I should be able to set the Feature Description so I can configure the map tip and appearance. 

 

 

ArcGIS Server raster layers have Feature Label, Feature Description, and Feature Long Description settings so you can configure the content and appearance of identify results. For information about these settings.

 

 

But I don't seem to have that option under the Display Settings Tab. Am I missing something?

  Hello,  Did you have any luck?  I'm having the same issue.  No one knows what Stretch.Pixel Value means.  :)

  Hi Bobbi - Unfortunately no, it would seem that using the Feature Description on an image service isnt supported

  Hi Bobbie and Chris,

   

   

  I just got this working by configuring the Feature Description for a raster layer with the following token:

   

  {Stretch.Pixel Value}

   

   

  Note that this is under the Details tab for the layer, not under the Display Settings for the map service.

   

   

  By also ticking the 'Show Map Tips' option for the layer, you can query the raster and get a pop-up result with a single left-click.
