Email activity issues
I am trying to send an automated email at the end of a workflow. I am having trouble getting the email to actually generate (or send). Our GCE instance is on an AWS server and the county's mail server uses the county's SMTP domain. Does anyone know how to test for where this is getting hung up? I have alerts both before and after the activity, and when it hits the email activity, it sits for 10-12 seconds before the sent alert triggers. (seems long). Below is a screenshot of the activity parameters.

Have you configured the hostname for the Send Mail activity? (And optionally its port and credentials)
It is also possible to do this configuration in the web.config file, inside the REST directory, which will make it available to all workflows. See here for details.0
