Add Pushpins in GVH 4.13

Looking at the documentation I see that adding pushpins to the map when running a search was deprecated when highlighting was implemented instead, but this doesn't work well for doing things like property address searches on parcel polygons when zoomed into a whole city. Is there a way to add pushpins back to search results either through GE Manager or by editing the viewer config files? I tried adding AddPushpins into the viewer config where it used to be but that didn't do anything (guessing that ties back to the deprecation).

  According to the documentation only the option for pushpins to remain visible was deprecated?
