Is there a way in Reporting5, using a layer report, to show all the selected features in one map?

I have reports showing each feature with it's assorted sub-reports. However I need one that starts by showing the whole selection on a single map, be that two features or 200.

I've tried putting the map control in Report Headers, top margin, group headers, they all seem to do the individual records rather than all.

I've even tried going down the route of using a rest-endpoint map and creating the URL with calculated fields, but I can't get at the comma-separated list of FIDs. Even though when I drop the FIDs parameter into the group header, I madeningly see a comma separated list of FIDs! if I try to use it in a calculated field I just get System.Object[]

Is there a way in Reporting5, using a layer report, to show all the selected features in one map?
