Portal Verification

I am curious if there is way to have portal authentication for when users want to use a workflow created in workflow 5.. I know that currently the workflow 5 workflows are stored in ArcGIS online and that they are using that identity system to allow end users access to the workflows. I am curious if the same can be applied to using portal for identity verification?
