Deactivate Time Slider

     I just added a time slider to a site today but do not have it activated by default.  However, I noticed that even though the time slider is not visible when the map loads, it only shows the features within the default extent of the time slider.  So when I use the toggle button to turn the time slider on, nothing changes for the time aware layers.  

 

     If I change the time extent and toggle the time slider off, it still only shows the features that were in that time extent.  

 

     I am using the commands ActivateTimeSlider and DeactivateTimeSlider in the toggle button, so I expect it to show all the features in the time-aware layers when I toggle the time slider off.  I also expect it to show all the features before the time slider is activated when the map first loads. 

 

Is anyone else experiencing this, and is there a workaround?  

 

 

We are currently on version 4.13.3.
