Item in item picker stays highlighted after unchecking

Hi,

What is the expected behaviour for an Item Picker with geometries?

I have a display form with an Item Picker in the HTML5Viewer (2.12.1). It does what it has to do, but the highlights are confusing;

1. When hovering over items, the geometry lights up in the map, which is good.
2. When I check an item, the highlight stays on and I can continue hovering over other items to select a second item. Also good.
3. However, if I uncheck an item, because I don't want to include it, the item stays highlighted even after moving my cursor away. This is wrong behaviour in my eyes, and very confusing to users. It looks as if the item is still checked (even though it is not).

Does anyone experience the same issue? Is this supposed to work like this, or perhaps a bug?

As a work-around I'd like to use the command 'ClearHighlightLayer'. However, I don't know how to find the correct layername where these highlights are stored.

Any advice is welcome :)
