How can I remove geometry field from Export to XLSX or CSV

Is there a way in which I can prevent the feature geometry details being included in exports to xlsx and csv?

 

If any complex features are included Excel gives a warning message: "We found a problem with some content in 'Layer_name.xlsx'. Do you want to try to recover as much as we can? ....". Presumably this is due to the number of characters in the Geometry field. The user will then get a further warning from Excel about file validation and repair. 

 

Most of my users don't need the geometry details and would be confused by it!

 

I'm using Geocortex SAAS and I'm new to it so could be missing something obvious?

  Hi Peter,

   

  The ability to configure which fields are exported isn't currently supported; please add this to the Ideas section.
