Default Locale not working when editing a Viewer in Geocortex Manager
We upgraded to Geocortex Essential 4.14 recently but since then the Geocortex Manager is showing @langurage- on all UI elements when editing the Viewer in a site. The other components in the Rest Manager are okay. The problem goes away of we add &locale=en-us in the URL when editing a viewer (e.g. https://pwdchesg03.pwc.local/Geocortex/Essentials/RestManager/Html5Viewer/Viewer/Edit?siteID=Water&locale=en-us&viewerID=ArcFM_Web#view=ExternalContentView). Does anyone know how we can get it to default to the US locale?.

There should be something wrong with language files like
/RestManager/Html5Viewer/Viewer/Management/Locales/Management.en-US.json.js
/RestManager/Html5Viewer/Viewer/Management/Locales/Management.Infrastructure.en-US.json.js
Or with the references to it in
/RestManager/Html5Viewer/Viewer/Management/Config/Management.json.js
Try to check if this files contain valid JSON.0 -
OK I think I found the problem.. It was the Language setting in the Chromium Edge browser I was using which was listed under Settings>Languages as English (United Kingdom) first, then English, then English (United States). I moved English (United States) to the top of the list and refreshed and the labels are correctly resolved. 0
