Attribute List Values (URLs/Hyperlinks)
Is there a special character that forces Geocortex Essentials to see multiple values as such in a single record single attribute value (delimiter, if you will)?
I want to write multiple URLs to a Single Record/Feature's single TEXT Attribute/Field and have Geocortex Essentials (and Viewer) recognize them as separate values.
I have experimented a little with writing two separate URLs to a TEXT Field with only a space separating them, and then writing an entire HTML paragraph with two separate hyperlinks (href) in another TEXT Field on the same record. I published a service, brought it into a Geocortex Essentials Site, added both those field's tokens to the Feature Description to be displayed and took a look at how Gecortex automatically (default) reacted.
Identifying the Feature in the Viewer and viewing the Feature Description, the plain URLs listed with a space separator appear as just the plain text value. The HTML paragraph was actually interpreted correctly and displays two separate values that are hyperlinked to the respective URLs.
However, when switching to view the Feature Details, the plain URLs listed with a space separator automatically (default) recognizes the entire value (two separate URLs separated by a space) as one URL and automatically hyperlinks it. The HTML paragraph is displayed as plain text.
If there is a character that Geocortex Recognizes as a delimiter to treat multiple values in a single field value as separate values....
Does anyone know if this is a possibility?
