Metadata Workflow - Geocortex Essentials

Hi, I am looking to create a workflow that will display metadata for each layer in my site via the ArcGIS Server metadata rest endpoint eg https://sitename/ArcGIS/rest/services/layer/MapServer/0/metadata?format=default&f=html.

 

 

This Metadata workflow/tool will be implemented at the Layer ListActions within the Context Menus of the viewer.

 

 

Can someone please explain or provide an example of how to dynamically get the mapservice url (without hardcoding the url) so I can then construct the required metadata url.

 

 

This may be a straight forward task however I am only new to Workflow Designer.

  You can use the Get Layer activity to get the layer object. The url will be $Layer1.layer.url
