Unable to get a token from layer.

I tried these two methods

1) $layer1.layer.credential.token - do not see credential in the browser

2) $parseurl1.query["token"] - no value either

 

Also, using this method, I was able to get an access_token but when I used it to query attachment, I get a 498 error which is why I attempted the those two methods above to see if I can get a valid token but those two method are not returning the token. Any help would be appreciated.

  Is your portal federated?

  Yes. It is federated.

  I think there is a bug with Portal-federated ArcGIS server to Essentials site configured with Portal security.
