    Hi Brian,

Thanks for the great feedback! I've added a story into the backlog and it will be discussed by the team.

    Hi Brian,

Wanted to follow up that this has been discussed and is planned to be implemented.

    Hi,

this has been possible for some time now. You can go to the layer where you want to set up a feature action and you will find a feature action panel where a feature action can be added and configured.

Here is an example of the Capital City app where you can find a feature action on the hydrant layer to be able to move the hydrant.

    Hi Victor,

The feature actions are currently only accessible from the results panel. We want to configure the individual layer action to access from the layer list.

Hi Niluka Munasinghe I believe what you want here is a Layer Action, configured like this:

To meet Brian's need this could be either a command configured on the Layer Action, or a custom command or if that is not meeting needs you could go to a Workflow.

    Hi Gareth
Thanks for your response. The layer actions are for all the layers in the layer list. Currently we can't configure that for individual layers.
    Cheers
    Niluka

Ahh, I see your point Niluka. At present, we do not have the capability to restrict layer actions to a specific layer.

We have noted this concern in our development area, under the entry 180921: "[Layer List] Only run actions on certain layers".

We have considered a workaround where you could create multiple layer lists, with each list displaying specific layers. However, it seems that if a layer is included in one layer list, it gets included in all other layer lists. We are looking into this, as it may be a bug. Your understanding and patience are appreciated as we work on this.

No worries, Gareth. Hope we'll get the functionality soon.
    Thanks for the response.

The functionality of only running layer actions on a specific layer would be very helpful. Is there any news on implementation?

Hi Olivia Bang Brinck I am also waiting for this with bated breath. I just had a look, and noted this work has been completed and is targeted to be released in the next VSW release, VSW 5.34, for Q1 2025
