Reporting: Version 5.14.0
Can the table of contents width (WidthF) or size properties be changed? Can the real background color be changed as well?
The table of contents control has the size property removed from the layout group and is not included when sorting by name.
Report Designer Scripts
In the report before print event setting the table of contents WidthF, Size, SizeF does nothing.
Because the table of contents width cannot be altered its default size is too wide and cause the report to generate an extra bank page. This could be handled if the width of the table of contents could be controlled.
Apart from the width causing a blank page there appears to be some unchangable white background on the control. While padding can move the contents text to "fit" the width still forces a blank page. The padding also cannot fix the white background that is drawing over the page borders.
Setting the table of contents, level title, and level default BackColor transparent does not remove the white background. The report header does not have a white background and there is no panel that has a white background (can't place the ToC in a panel anyways).
Setting BackColor to transparent on levels at runtime does not remove the white background.
Made me wonder if there was an additional control added along with the ToC but checking on the ToC Parent indicates the Parent is the report header.
We need more control over the table of contents overall size and actual background color.
