Agreed, this would be extremely helpful to at least have parity with the built in printing options (i.e. scale, extent, grid, resolution)

The printing and reporting services accept a "dpi" property, but we just don't expose that directly in the activities. We can add it, though.

Is there any update on this? I see the status is "Planned" but when can we expect this to be released?

"Planned" is really the only bucket we have for things we intend to get to at some point. This still has very few votes, so it's unlikely it will be done soon based on popularity.

Is there any more progress with this?  Where can I vote for this?

Bob Carberry The votes are beside the description of the idea at the top of the page. You would click the up arrow to add your vote.

I had a look at this and it should be fairly straightforward to implement so I've started work on it.

The change has been completed. This will be in the upcoming 5.41 release next month.

Ken Lyon Great news, was about post something here.

Also It was really good to revise Run Print Command in VertiGIS web to be as Operation to be able to get the results. at the moment once use run command to print if it fails I couldn't find a way to understand if the request is failed or not.

I was happy to see that the Resolution parameter was added to the Run Print activity in Workflow Version 5.42.0.

However, it does not seem to make any difference.  I first set the resolution to the default of 96, then increased it to 300.  The prints look the same.  The file size is the same as well.  Any suggestions?

Bob Carberry Are you able to check the browser's network traffic to find the request to the printing service? It would be good to confirm if the resolution you specified is included in the request. If it's not being sent, this would suggest an older version of Workflow is being used. If it is being sent, this would suggest a bug in Printing.

Ok, I got with tech support, I needed to install the latest version of Web as well (5.32.0).  After that, it worked.
