Get Layer

The Get Layer activity is a fundamental part of many workflows. From this you get values for the Query Layer, Show Results, Set Layer Visibility. Without it you can't use these other activities effectively.

Please could VertiGIS provide improved documentation for the Get Layer activity, describing what should be use for the layer id and sublayer id in each situation.

1) When using Geocortex Web.

2) When using Web AppBuilder or Experience Builder.

3) When using the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5.

4) When using group layers in the web map.

5) When using the new map viewer versus the classic map viewer (if this makes a difference).

6) When a whole map service has been added to the web map.

7) When an individual layer has been added to the web map.

Without proper documentation we have to experiment on a trial and error basis until we find the right settings. This is unnecessarily time consuming.
