How to display Feature Attachment Images in Geocortex Report Designer With ArcGIS Server Secured Services
Hello,
Anyone knows how to display images in a report file (.rpx) in Geocortex Report Designer with ArcGIS Server Secure Services?
I enabled the Attachments in a Feature Class in ArcMap and publish the service into ArcGIS Server to a secured folder.
If I unsecured the service, the image is displayed on the Report (PDF File), by clicling on the layer.
Any tips, even by scripting on Report Designer, to solve this issue? Tips for how to read secured services on Report Designer? Maybe, defining the credencials on scripting? How can I do that, preserve the autenticity of the service?
I have a customer asking for this subject.
I will be very grateful if anyone could light up some ideas to solve this issue.
Best Regards,
Carolina Mendonça

Hi Carolina,
It depends on how do you secure you map service in ArcGIS Server and Essentials.
If your map service is secured by IWA and map service is secured in Essentials, just need to make sure the identity account under Essentials' application pool having access to map service.
If your map service is secured by IWA and map service is NOT secured in Essentials (no permission settings applied), then need to make sure end user having access to map service.

Hi Leo,
Thank you very much for returning an answer to my question.
I apologize for not being clear and not mentioning that detail.
In both ArcGIS Server and GE, the map services are protected with a user created in ArcGIS Server Manager. In GE, I am using the authentication type Security by Token (per user), where I define that user created in ArcGIS Server Manager.
The REST Application Pool has the read, write and view permissions enabled and the RestManager Application Pool has all permissions enabled.
If you can think of any other actions I can test, I would appreciate it.
Thank you very much for your help.
