Our commitment to maintaining effective product support for Geocortex and VertiGIS Studio: changes to minimum supported version requirements
FeaturedAll Geocortex and VertiGIS Studio products released after July 31st, 2022 will reflect the following changes:
- Internet Explorer will no longer be a supported browser * **
- The minimum supported version of ArcGIS Enterprise/Server/Portal becomes 10.5.1
- Supported operating system versions for on-premises production servers becomes
Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2022
These changes reflect VertiGIS’ ongoing commitment to effectively test, verify, and respond to customer reported issues and maintain high quality standards.
* Geocortex Essentials (GE) and the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 (GVH) reference a hosted version of the VertiGIS Studio Workflow runtime. This means that a GVH application running correctly in Internet Explorer today will stop working in the future unless mitigation steps are taken to point those applications to a fixed version of the Workflow runtime. A community article will be provided outlining the required mitigation steps if you have existing GVH apps that you wish to continue running in Internet Explorer after July 31st, 2022.
** Microsoft Support for Internet Explorer ends June 15, 2022. According to StatCounter, in 2021 less than 1% of all Internet traffic is attributed to users with Internet Explorer.
