Is it possible to change the suggestions in the basemap picker-component?

One of our clients wants to use the basemap picker troughout the organisation. By default, the basemap picker shows the basemap gallery which is configured as default for the Web Map used. However, the options under "Add ESRI basemap" in the basemap picker configuration remain the default ESRI Web Mercator Base Maps. Our client is interested in replacing these options (under the "Basiskaart"-drop down menu in the picture below) with their own basemaps. Is this possible (in any GXW version), and if so, how?
I'm aware that a lot is possible by creating useful templates and by setting another default basemap group for your web map, but I'm specifically interested in altering the contents of this drop-down menu.

If you want to control the 'default' basemap gallery you actually do that as part of your Esri Portal or ArcGIS Online organization.

It seems this is not possible. Reaction from support https://community.vertigis.com/hc/requests/36309
. It's not currently expected to use Portal's basemap gallery settings for the default basemaps that it presents.

Any plans Cam Barnard to support the update of the default Esri Basemap list or allow the Esri default basemap list to correspond to the list of basemaps configured in our Portal or AGOL? I believe Esri's Web App Builder and Experience Builder honour the basemap gallery we configure in our Portal or AGOL.
