App Icon
Hello, I downloaded and installed the new 1.0 Analytics, but there isn't an app/shortcut that was installed. Is this normal?

Hi,
Correct, there is no icon/shortcut right now but you can load the Analytics interface via the URL structure below (replace server with your server name or FQDN address).
https://server/vertigis/studio/analytics

Sean, would you expect a shortcut placed into the start menu? I know that was present in GA, so I can understand why you'd expect that.
To answer your question "is this normal" - yes, it is consistent with my experience with the VSA install.

Yes, because I would not remember the URL and set it as a desktop shortcut. Additionally, at the end I do not believe there was a link to the URL (https://server/vertigis/studio/analytics) like there is at the end of the WF5 suite's installers.
Edit:
Also, there is an "Enterprise Sign-In" button, but it was not established with our portal or AGOL; will that be built in?
... and where is the Agent Installer?

Hi,
The documentation is the best place to start for these questions.
The URL to the Reports interface is outlined here:
https://docs.vertigisstudio.com/analytics/latest/admin-help/hub-setup-utility.html
The sign in method for Studio Analytics is only currently avaliable through Integrated Window Authentication via the Analytics Admins and Analytics Viewers groups. ArcGIS Enterprise login will come in future releases.
https://docs.vertigisstudio.com/analytics/latest/admin-help/configure-security.html
The Agent installer is accessed through the Agent deployment portion of the Studio Analytics reports.

Hi Mike, I have read the agent installation guide and done everything "successful" (as that's what it says, just like the documentation) on the agent side and it it not correlating back to the hub. Could this be a port issue?

Hi Sean Phayakapong this very well could be a security system or port issue. We do have documentation on the required ports here, it's ports 80 or 443 (always 443 if you've got HTTPS going): Administrator Help VertiGIS Studio Analytics
I've also sent you an email directly so that we can discuss this in depth.
