How to replace search to use a workflow?

I wanted to replace the search in Essentials to use a workflow

instead of the GIS Geocoders or global or instead search.

Is that a way to do it?

I want to use the search instead of having to pop up another form

  This is not possible with standard functionality.

  With custom code e.g. a custom SearchProvider.
