Extract xlsx workflow change of server url

We run a public instance of Geocortex Essentials on our server, and the external url too access that is different to the server name. Eg friendly.domain.com instead of server.domain.com. This works for the whole site brilliantly because we use azure adfs for our sso internally. What I have just found out is when running export to xlsx buttons on our public instance this must be hard coded to use server.domain.com which essentially sends our public users to azure login page instead of the public accessible friendly.domain.com.

Anyone got any ideas? The public instance is a little behind its GXE 4.11 and html5 2.12.1.2.
