VertiGIS Web 5 attachments not showing in update from 5.17 to 5.21

Our current web 5 web application has attachments on many of the features. We are noticing after the upgrade from 5.17 to 5.21 we are no longer seeing the attachments. Where do you configure viewing the attachments within web 5? They are enabled in web map within ArcGIS enterprise portal 10.9.1.

    Hi Claire,

    Are all other popup contents (e.g. text, field list, etc) of the features still displaying in results-details? Other settings in Web Designer that would be worth checking:

    1. Services tab >> Results >> Details View Settings >> remove and re-add the Popup Content
    2. Components tab >> Map >> Go into the layer of your interest (under Layer Extensions) >> Look for Summary Popup Content >> Try toggle on the attachments visibility

    If none of these helps, please share us your webmap so we can inspect the popupInfo settings closely.

    Hi Pairin, I tried both of those with no luck. Do you need the map service url? I also noticed that the ArcGIS enterprise 10.9.1 map viewer (new) will only show attachments in a feature service not the map service. Is this something that Web 5.21 changed as well where its going to force the attachments to show only for a feature service? At 5.17 our current map service is showing the attachments without issue. But only the upgrade shows them now missing.

    Web 5.21 should still support displaying the attachments for Map Service layers. If you're able to send your map service url that would be very helpful for our further investigation: pairin.mason@vertigis.com.

    Are the attachments on sublayers/related tables? Is so, this issue has been resolved in version 5.22. From the release notes: 

    • Resolved an issue preventing attachments of MapServiceSublayers from displaying correctly. [201093]

    Upgraded to 5.26.1 and once again having issues with attachments in Web viewer. It is only showing attachments for some layers not all of them. What is happening?

    Determined the attachments not showing are pdfs. Has something changed from 5.17 to 5.26.1 that it no longer can deal with pdfs?

    Hi Claire,

    I was able to reproduce the issue in 5.26.2 and when testing the same behaviour in the current 5.27 release candidate, saw that it was behaving as it was previously, so this should appear fixed in the next release, which we are planning to release later this month.
