Allow Default Printing Format to be Configurable
The current print form does not have a configurable definition and always displays settings in a fixed order. Some options, such as Resolution and Scale, are populated from the Printing component configuration in the Studio Web app, while others, such as Layout Fields, are driven by the selected print layout. However, options like File Format appear to be hardcoded and cannot currently be configured or have their default values changed.
I understand that it's possible to build a custom Workflow with a Display Form to control settings like the default file format, but it would be great if this functionality were available directly in the standard printing menu. Providing a way to configure the default output format (for example, JPG instead of PDF) within the built-in Print component would simplify implementation and make the out-of-the-box printing experience more flexible.
This would also help simplify the process for users who are required to submit specific file types as part of their workflows. Instead of having to manually change the file format each time they print, administrators could configure the appropriate default format, reducing user effort and helping ensure the correct output type is generated consistently.
