Adding Map Service as Data Source in Reporting

I am trying to add a data source in Reporting using the REST url for a server map service. I added the token user name and password options and but it says “Unable to connect to data source”. I am able to connect to a feature service in AGOL, just not a map service. Any help is appreciated.
