Get Ready! VertiGIS Studio Web 5.39 Release Candidate is Here!
Great news! The Release Candidate for VertiGIS Studio Web 5.39 is now ready, and our team has officially started the final regression testing phase.
We are targeting Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, for the General Availability (GA) release.
This release focuses on giving your end-users more power to visualize and explore their data, while also delivering performance improvements under the hood. As always, it includes a robust collection of bug fixes and essential technology updates to keep your solutions performing at their best.

📍 Flexible Nearby Search
We've introduced a powerful new "Nearby Search" command. It supports no-context, layer-context, and feature-context scenarios. This enables you to configure flexible spatial queries across layers, allowing users to easily find features near a specific location or surrounding existing features on the map.
🎨 Dynamic Runtime Symbology
Data visualization just got more powerful. End-users can now change layer symbology at runtime based on unique attribute values. This allows users to dynamically style their map to highlight the data patterns that matter most to them.
🚀 Enhanced UI Performance
We've made significant changes under the hood to make your apps feel smoother. We have updated key components to utilize asynchronous Arcade expressions. By moving these calculations off the main thread, we've reduced blocking and improved the overall responsiveness of the application, especially in complex projects.
🔒 Improved SaaS Printing Security
Security is always a priority. Printing requests sent from VertiGIS Studio Web to the new SaaS instance of Studio Printing (based on ArcGIS Pro) now automatically include a token. This enhancement ensures a secure handshake between your web application and our printing services.

Hi Nico Burgerhart, in case you were still wondering, you can find it by looking up “Nearby” when adding a new item to the toolbar menu.
